IE School of Biology is launching the second edition of the Environmental Leaders Scholarship Competition for the Master in Global Environmental Change. Winners of the competition will be awarded a scholarship for the academic year 2011-2012. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in environmental sustainability and a high academic potential.

Global environmental change is an encompassing challenge, involving a broad-ranging set of interconnected issues, including biodiversity loss, climate change, deforestation, food security, urbanization, and disease transmission. Graduates of this innovative program are trained to translate insights about environmental change into understandable information to guide decision-makers in business, government, and the citizen sector.

The competition tests your abilities to communicate about complex environmental problems and innovative solutions. To participate, submit a presentation on a real or proposed solution to an important environmental problem. We are looking for insightful, strong messages.

The winner of the challenge will be awarded a scholarship covering 10.800 € of tuition fees for the Master in Global Environmental Change.

Submissions will be judged by a professional jury that consists of members representing IE University, HUB Madrid, Vizzuality, Futerra Sustainability Communications and IE Alumni. Unleash your creativity and enter the competition!
